Probably one of the most beautiful Rococo buildings in all of Lombardy, it was erected in 1725 by a Pavian architect Veneroni for the Mezzabarba family. It was later acquired by the Municipality of Pavia and from 1875 was the town city hall. The halls boast plaster work and prestigious frescoes by Varesino, Magatti, the Milanese Bianchi and the Cremonese Borroni. The lateral chapel dedicated to Saint Quiricus and Saint Julitta is also a must see.
